Rev. Nancy Eileen Blade
Pastor Nancy’s passion for ministry is worship and preaching. She believes the worship message comes through in the telling and the spirit of our service. Her method for bringing the Word to life has been refined over her 30 years of pastoral ministry in the United Methodist Church.
As an Elder the Northern Illinois Conference Pastor Nancy also works with the Eco-Sustainability Task Force, the Committee on Native American Ministry, and the Conference Board of Trustees.
Under her leadership we are learning to see the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven. Join the company of believers taking the love of God to the people as we see all that God created deserving justice and mercy.
Pastor Leslie Singh
As youth director of the church, Pastor Leslie guides the spiritual lives of the youth from 3 years into their young adult years. Her weekly meetings with teenagers give our families a mentor for our kids in a critical time in their lives. With weekly fun, food and faith-based study our youth and young adults are deepening their faith. There’s many opportunities to serve and to go out on mission through this group, called the Station. Pastor Leslie also guides our laity in mentoring the young children. Her passion for working in this area recently prompted writing curriculum for Vacation Bible School. After 10 years in our church, we are thrilled to have her as a guide for our children.
Mr. Ron Benner
With over 50 years of teaching music behind him, Ron consistently brings excellence to our worship by directing the music in our services. Ron teaches choral music to our Chancel Choir and brings accompanists on piano and other instruments together. As a staff member for many years Ron has worked with various pastors and musicians. He has also organized many variety shows and caroling excursions. See him this December 1 in downtown West Chicago at Frosty Fest leading a caroling group.
Longtime accompanist in West Chicago, Leanne joins us in October of 2018. She will accompany the chancel choir and the congregation on our grand piano. We do not use a organ in our informal setting. Piano accompaniment is a gift and a passion that Leanne gracefully shares with us.
Lisa Marie Vogt
As Administrative Assistant Lisa Marie keeps our church moving in the right direction. She has been staffing the front office of the church for over 20 years. She brings a passion for people to her ministry with us. Recently she has volunteered to cook and organize the food for the 3rd week of PADS. Her gifts continue to bless us in amazing
Our custodial work has been taken on by Erlaine Born, Moderator of First Congregational Church of West Chicago. Though her duties in that church are nearly complete, she accepts our staff position with a rigorous passion for cleanliness. With the help of other laity and community service volunteers, Erlaine makes our building ready for our many programs and guests.
